
Garden Services Team Lead
This position is located in Bozeman, MT. This is NOT a remote position.

Plus, you’ll supervise a small but mighty team of 1-2 garden pros who are just as passionate as you are.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
· Assign tasks to team members based on skill level and project requirements.
· Provide on-the-job training and coaching for team members on proper techniques and safety procedures.
· Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and address any issues.
· Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project updates and expectations.
Sales
Must be knowledgeable and informed of all company services.
Communicate the vision for enhancements with other departments to ensure clients’ expectations are met.
Maintain relationships with all clients to ensure satisfaction and promote sales and referrals through consistent weekly communication and quarterly site walks.
Project Execution:
· Review client landscape plans and specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
· Schedule and coordinate daily work activities across multiple client sites.
· Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within project deadlines.
· Perform quality checks on completed work to maintain high standards.
Client Management:
Understand clients’ needs and develop short- and long-term enhancement plans for clients’ property.
Maintain relationships with all clients to ensure satisfaction and promote sales and referrals through consistent communication.
Operational Management:
· Maintain inventory of gardening tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and repair.
· Coordinate with clients to address concerns and schedule additional services.
· Report on project progress to the Garden Services Manager.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Horticultural Expertise:
Strong understanding of plant identification, proper pruning techniques, seasonal planting needs, and pest management practices.
Leadership Abilities:
Proven ability to motivate and lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve conflicts.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with clients, team members, and supervisors.
Physical Fitness:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Typical Work Environment:
Primarily outdoors on various client properties, including residential and commercial landscapes.
Exposure to weather elements, including sun, rain, and extreme temperatures.
Driver’s License:
Must be 21 years or older and have a valid U.S. Driver’s License that is not currently suspended or revoked (driving record must meet the insurance carrier’s policy requirements and Highridge Landscapes Inc. driving standards).
Preferred:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
