Landscape Installation Team Member
This position is located in Bozeman, MT. This is NOT a remote position.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape installation. This team member will assist others in implementing design plans for commercial and residential clients. This Team Member will regularly communicate with Team Leads and coworkers. This position reports to the Landscape Installation Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
Required:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· A willingness to learn standard landscape construction and horticultural practices
· Safety first mindset and good safety record
· Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
Position Duties and Functions
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Immediately report any damaged, broken, missing, or malfunctioning equipment and/or safety concerns to the Operations Manager and/or mechanic
· Maintain a clean and professional appearance
· Promote safety in every aspect of the job by upholding PPE policies
· Complete time sheets
· Perform all other assigned duties
Duties to become proficient in:
· Edging installation
· Planting bed prep
· Installation of all plant material
· Tree staking
· Drip irrigation
· Weed mat installation
· Mulch installation
· Sod and seed prep
· Sod installation
Working Conditions
Frequent contact with team members, coworkers, and clients. The majority of the work (80-90%) is performed outdoors with constant exposure to environmental and weather elements including, but not limited to, heat, cold, rain, wind, snow, grasses, dirt, bugs, plants, trees, shrubs, flowers, dust, and pollen. Work is performed close to machinery and loud noises. Frequent exposure to fertilizers, fumes, and lawncare chemicals. Work involves daily travel to and from job sites and operating a motor vehicle (with or without a trailer) on public roadways.
This position requires the ability to work full-time (five days per week, a minimum of 8 hours per day) with extended workdays and weekend working during the season, at times with little or no advanced notice.
Special Equipment
A Landscape Team Member will only operate equipment under the direct supervision of a qualified team member.
Driver’s License
· Must be 21 years or older and have a valid U.S. Driver’s License that is not currently suspended or revoked (driving record must meet the insurance carrier’s policy requirements and Highridge Landscapes Inc. driving standards).
