Lawn Care Team Lead
This position is located in Bozeman, MT. This is NOT a remote position.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Lawn Care Team Lead to join our dynamic landscaping company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated crew, overseeing daily operations, and acting as a primary point of contact for client communication. Your responsibilities will include lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and trimming, as well as assisting with fertilizer application and pest control as needed. You should be well-versed in lawn care tools and techniques, ensuring efficient and high-quality service while maintaining a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and motivate your crew while maintaining high standards of work quality.
· Perform lawn care duties including mowing, string trimming, aeration, and edging.
· Safely and efficiently operate various lawn care equipment.
· Engage with clients professionally, providing expert recommendations for lawn maintenance.
· Uphold company policies, safety standards, and ensure compliance with SOPs.
· Manage and maintain equipment, including loading, unloading, and cleaning.
· Promote a culture of safety by adhering to PPE protocols.
Skills and Experience:
· Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred, with a solid understanding of horticultural practices.
· Ability to operate various lawn care tools and equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
· Ability to work independently and follow instructions efficiently.
· Pesticide certification is a plus.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
· Flexible work schedule and willingness to adapt to varying work conditions.
· A safety-first mindset with a commitment to following safety protocols.
Working Conditions:
· This is an outdoor role with exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
· Regular travel to job sites, with potential driving of vehicles and trailers.
· Work involves operating machinery in a noisy and potentially dusty environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly wage: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:
· Landscape Maintenance: 1+ year (preferred)
Driver’s License:
· Must be 21 years or older and have a valid U.S. Driver’s License that is not currently suspended or revoked (driving record must meet the insurance carrier’s policy requirements and Highridge Landscapes Inc. driving standards).
